WOMEN were in the driving seat of all sorts of vehicles at Bovington Army Camp to raise money for charity.
The 150 female drivers put a range of vehicles through their paces including a steam engine, police car, tank and off-road vehicles dating from the Second World War.
Together they raised almost £25,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care to help patients in Dorset.
Dorset fundraiser for the charity Julia Chapman said: "It is a memorable day out and so much fun.
"Some ladies come along to conquer their driving fears, others to prove they can drive any type of vehicles, some ladies come to drive a specific vehicle but everyone wants to have fun and raise money for a great cause."
This year's was the 12th annual Ladies' Driving Challenge for the charity and held in perfect weather.
