TWO people have been arrested following an robbery at a village post office near Dorchester.
Police were called to the sub post office in Cattistock after a report that a robbery was taking place at around 9.15am today. (TUES) Officers attended the scene and a description of a man was circulated to all patrols in the area.
Just after 9.30am a Rover was stopped was stopped on the A37 north of Dorchester and the occupants were arrested.
A 19-year-old Weymouth man and 20-year-old Portland woman were taken into custody to assist police with their inquiries.
Police said 'property of some description had apparently been stolen' during the incident but no-one was injured.
