The Thomas Hardye School: We went to the skills festival in Bournemouth, where the army gave a hands on experience of some weapons including a 5.56 light machine gun, SA80 A2 Undersling grenade launcher, 8mm mortar, 12.7mm heavy machine gun, SA80 A2 Light support, L85 individual weapon and the 7.62 general purpose machine gun.
In the royal signals section they have chests with different types of activities they do, like missile strikes and radio communication through fibre optic cables. The RAF had a cockpit which they showed people around and they were giving away shirts and giving advice.
