A woman was attacked as she walked her dogs at Blandford earlier today.
Police said the woman was on a pathway alongside the River Stour when the incident happened about 11-30 am.
They say a man clad in dark clothing attacked the victim on land belonging to Bryanston public school.
She was shocked but not physically harmed in the assault, the spokesman added.
A 37 years old man was later being questioned about the incident.
Police want anyone who was in the area - particularly a photographer seen near the scene - to contact them on 01305 222222.
