A YACHT with two people on board lost its steering in heavy seas near Swanage, Portland Coastguard said.
The 10-metre Fleetwing was under sail, unable to anchor and being driven by strong winds just south of Anvil Point.
The Swanage RNLI lifeboat took the stricken vessel under tow into Poole Harbour yesterday.
