TECHNOLOGY company Poundbury Systems Ltd has finished top in new customer service ratings from Microsoft.

The Dorchester-based company came first in the south west and in the top five nationwide in the computer giant’s recent survey of customer satisfaction.

Director Clare Jenkins said: “We always strive to deliver the highest levels of care and service to our customers. To perform so highly against other companies in the UK is a fantastic testament to the outstanding efforts of the whole team.”

Poundbury Systems Ltd (PSL) is a Gold partner of Microsoft. It opted to have its customer satisfaction levels measured in detail in the survey.

One of PSL’s customers, Princecroft Willis LLP, gave the firm the seal of approval.

The accountancy and business advisor recently called on PSL for advice on its move to new flagship offices at Towngate House in Poole.

Partner James Robinson said the strategic advice was ‘invaluable’.

“Poundbury Systems have always provided an excellent service.

“It is no surprise that they have done so well in this survey.”

PSL, founded by Mike and Clare Jenkins in 2001, is already the current holder of three categories in the British Chamber of Commerce Awards 2007 (South West Region) – Business of the Year, Impact of Technology on Your Business (less than 50 employees) and the Award for Performance through People.

PSL also holds such accreditation as Investor in People, ISO 9001:2000, Microsoft SMB Specilaist and Cisco Select Certified Partner.

Technological support manager Alan Roper said: “The systems we have in place enable us to provide high quality services to our customers but it is the skill and efforts of our staff that ensure customers always receive the highest levels of care.”
