TWINS will be able to show off their artistic talents after a windfall donation for the popular Weymouth Twins Club.
The organisation, which currently has 27 sets of twins on its register, has received £1,000 from Weymouth and Portland Housing tenants. The money will now be spent on purchasing arts and crafts equipment for the group, as well as an outdoor playhouse.
Emma Wood from the Twins Club said: “We are very grateful to the tenants of Weymouth and Portland Housing for this generous donation. Organisations like ours can’t exist without this sort of support.
Kristina Froshaug from Weymouth and Portland Housing’s tenants’ panel said: “It’s great that the money is being used for great projects such as art and crafts.”
The Weymouth Twins Club meets every other Friday at the Bincombe Valley Children’s Centre in Culliford Way, Littlemoor.
