PHOTOGRAPHS showing The Beatles enjoying a light-hearted moment in Bridport have been sold for £460.
The pictures, taken outside the Askers Road House Hotel in the mid-1960s, went up for auction at Duke’s Grove Auctions in Dorchester.
A telephone bidder bought the set of five images, which includes a photograph of John Lennon larking around with an old-fashioned box brownie camera.
Other pictures in the set show John and his bandmates George, Paul and Ringo driving off in their tour car and the group posing with the hotel’s owner.
