Dorchester & District Amnesty Group would like to thank everyone who gave so generously to their street collection which raised £266.40.
It is heartening that in a time of economic uncertainty, Dorchester residents and visitors were so willing to show their support for people all over the world who have been threatened, imprisoned or tortured for their peacefully held beliefs, or for trying to safeguard the human rights of others.
Amnesty's work on their behalf would not be possible without such support.
