SWANAGE and Wareham prop Richard Williams moves to hooker tomorrow for their mouth-watering local derby home clash against Wimborne at Bestwall (November 20 2.30pm).

Karl Randle goes into the Swans' front row at tight head for a South West Division Two East game that has been eagerly awaited by both sides.

Fourth-placed Wimborne go into the game buoyed by the fact they are the area's top team at the moment.

Last weekend Swans were held to a 17-17 draw by Oakmeadians at Meyrick Park after the home side had fought back from a 12-0 deficit to earn a share of the spoils.

That result meant Swans remained in fifth place with nine points from seven games, with Oaks in sixth with the same tally of points.

Wimborne also have nine points, despite losing 26-5 at home to top-of-the-table Reading Abbey last week, and are above both their local rivals on superior for and against points difference.

The Leigh Parkers' winger Ben Rumble scored a first-half try for Dorset and Wiltshire as they beat a Royal Navy XV 7-5 at Salisbury on Wednesday.

Salisbury full back Dave Bell slotted over the conversion as the Twin Counties gained a narrow victory in a County Championship trial match.

Fifteen Dorset players turned out in the first period and in the second half the county selectors sent out a team made up from Wiltshire clubs.

The game proved useful preparation for Dorset and Wiltshire as they look ahead to their championship programme in April and May.

Before the game Bob Baker, the managing director of Chas H Baker, a gentleman's outfitters in Salisbury, presented Dorset and Wiltshire with a new strip of shirts for use in the championship.

The shirts were gratefully received by Twin Counties team manager Martin Hill and Dorset and Wiltshire's Under-20 boss George Cady during a ceremony in Salisbury RFC's clubhouse.

Oakmeadians visit Amersham and Chiltern tomorrow aiming to secure their fifth league win of the season and maintain their push for a top-two place.

Bournemouth host Tadley (2.30pm) in Southern Counties South hoping to bounce back from their 10-5 defeat at Sherborne.

North Dorset visit Bradford on Avon in the same division, while title-chasing Blandford are away to fellow high-riders Weymouth in Dorset and Wiltshire Division One.
