MORGAN Spurlock's witty and frightening documentary follows the first-time feature filmmaker as he agrees to spend 30 days eating nothing but three square meals of food available over the counter at McDonald's, ensuring he eats everything on the menu at least once during the experiment.
Out to prove the physical and mental effects of consuming fast food, while also taking a look at America's food culture through its schools, corporations and politics, the journey into the fast food abyss leaves Spurlock overweight, morose and on the brink of liver failure.
Given the recent health scares about obesity, this looks like required viewing.
