CHARITY events hosted at a Weymouth pub raised more than £700 for the Joseph Weld and Trimar Hospice Trust.
Staff at the New Vic on The Esplanade organised a quiz night, auction and buffet which resulted in a cheque for £751.07 being handed to delighted charity bosses.
New Vic assistant manager Andrew Morris said: "It was a staff effort. We do it every year in aid of Joseph Weld and Trimar Hospice Trust because it is a local charity that does a worthwhile job looking after people in the hospice.
"It was a good night and we had a big turnout - everyone had a fantastic time."
