TELEVISION stars are heading to Weymouth tomorrow for a celebration of the lives of two sisters who died in a car crash on their way home from work last month.

EastEnders actor Shane Richie, comedian Bobby Davro and Soccer AM's Helen Chamberlain will take part in a cabaret show for Portland sisters Lucy and Catherine Breakwell, and more celebrities have offered their support.

The sisters' former employers at the Riviera Hotel in Bowleaze Cove are hosting the event to raise money for the Catherine and Lucy Breakwell Memorial Fund, which supports cancer and animal welfare charities, and will buy memorials to the girls.

All 370 tickets sold out on the day they were released, with 70 going to the Breakwells' family and friends from Wolverhampton, raising more than £3,000.

Lee Carroll, Hollybush Hotels' entertainment manager said: "It has been fantastic. Weymouth and Portland have come through for the girls to support the event in every way they can."

Businesses have given lots for the auction including holidays, a scooter, meals, hampers and champagne.

Signed gifts, cash and memorabilia were donated by performers including John Virgo, The Krankies, Duran Duran, Level 42, rugby star Gareth Chilcott, Joe Pasquale, Jimmy Cricket, Little and Large and Gary Wilmot. Arsenal and Liverpool football clubs have also contributed.

Helen Chamberlain will be bringing memorabilia from the Sky 1 show including a signed CD from Noel Gallagher who appeared on the programme recently.

"I am overwhelmed that my friends in showbusiness have responded," said Mr Carroll. "When I sent them the front page of the Echo with the story about Catherine and Lucy, they all did something to help."
