POPULAR composer John Joubert is coming to Weymouth next week to hear pianist Duncan Honeybourne perform a recital featuring his works.
Joubert, who is best known for his carol Torches Torches, will be in the resort for the next lunchtime concert organised by Weymouth Arts Centre, which takes place in St Mary's Church, St Mary Street on Wednesday, October 27.
Duncan will perform Joubert's Sonata in One Movement and Lyric Fantasy, as well as Schubert's Piano Sonata in B Flat.
Light refreshments served from noon and the one-hour concert will take place at 1pm. Admission is £3.50 plus adults.
