ELEVEN intrepid volunteers will be living rough in East Dorset in a bid to raise cash for the I'm NOT a Celebrity and I've Got to Stay Here Challenge next month.

They will be hunting for their food and building shelters in Moors Valley Country Park - courtesy of the Forestry Commission - to benefit The Anthony Nolan Trust, which helps those who need bone marrow transplant.

The cast list includes hotel worker Hayley McCarthy, 21, from Bournemouth who was volunteered by her boss Alan Stevens.

"He did it last year," she said.

"I tried to say no and to persuade my other colleagues. I'm not sure whether I will survive, I've got butterflies in my tummy."

Veteran of last year's challenge Amanda Collins, 40, from Westbourne has a broken arm, having fallen off her motorbike. She'll give the rope-climbing a miss but otherwise believes she can do it.

Self-confessed softie James Coakes from Hordle set up Progressive Resources, which runs team-building events for companies, when he was 19.

"I have been putting clients through challenges for 15 years and I thought it was about time I did something myself," he said.

Outdoors man Tom Glancy, 26, from Merley is a grounds maintenance foreman with Banyards. He's hoping the team-building experience will help him climb the management ladder.

Technician Kevin Symonds, 37, from Bournemouth is missing his younger daughter's seventh birthday to raise money for the challenge.

Steve Penney, 35, a sales manager for TSB from Winton, is forsaking his fiancee for the five days.

"I've let myself go a bit so I'm trying to get fit," he said.

Caroline Tillett, 33, from Diss in Norfolk, who runs a pet care businesses, said: "I think this will be a breeze though I'm a bit concerned about having to kill my own dinner."

Hairdresser Stephanie Hoyle, 38, also from Diss, reckons she will be better off than she is at home where her partner, personal trainer Mick, acts like "a sergeant-major".

Design and marketing executive Laura Danter, 23, from Brynmawr in Wales, is taking her make-up as her luxury.

Rob Nicol 31 of King's Lynn, also in Norfolk, works for Vodaphone

"I'm looking forward to a week without any mobile phones ringing - that's very appealing," he said.

Keen footballer Ian Barker, 37, from Winton is the 11th member of the crew.
