WEYMOUTH RES 4 MONEYFIELDS RES 0 MARTIN Underhay struck twice to help Weymouth Reserves to an easy victory over their Moneyfields counterparts.

The veteran attacker, now in his third spell at the club, found the net either side of half-time at a deserted Wessex Stadium.

But despite the result, Terras boss Dave Kiteley was again left frustrated by the poor standard of the opposition who at times looked no better than a lowly Sunday pubs side.

"After playing Horndean a few weeks ago," explained Kiteley, "I didn't think we would meet another team as poor as them. Unfortunately Moneyfields were no better and it's a very frustrating situation.

"When you've young players trying to make their way in the game like we have, they need to be tested on a regular basis. They need to be playing decent football against decent opponents and learning from the experience.

"What happens against teams like this is that we start off full of good intentions but end up being dragged down to their level. That's not doing us any good at all but I'm not sure what you do about it.

"In the last week we've turned in superb perfor-mances against leaders Gosport and second place Bemerton and while we only picked up one point from those games, I'd much rather be playing sides like that every Saturday than teams like Moneyfields and Horndean."

The Terras went ahead midway through the first half thanks to the impressive Leon Green and it was Ryan Hill who doubled the lead on 35 minutes.

Underhay made it 3-0 with a glancing header just before the break and he wrapped up the points for his side from close range, eight minutes into the second period.

Kiteley added: "They were four good goals although it could have been a lot more. Unders took both his chances well and he continues to be a great asset to the reserves and someone the youngsters can learn from."

Terras: Carroll, Hill, Dixon, Walker, Bastafield, Bottomley (Ross-Jennings 71mins), Emburey, Nicholson, Bichard, Green, Underhay (Webber 75mins). Not used: Middleton.
