CRAIG Boyce's whistle-stop tour of seemingly all of the clubs in this year's Elite League continues after he signed for struggling Ipswich until the end of the season.

The 35-year-old replaces Paul Hurry, who has been dropped, in the Witches team and will line up against Pirates at Foxhall in a top-flight clash tomorrow.

But first Boyce will appear in Poole Meridian Lifts colours in a Four Team Tournament against Ipswich, Eastbourne and Peterborough at Wimborne Road tonight (7.30pm).

If that's not already confusing enough for speedway fans, Boyce will then guest for Pirates in place of the injured Lukas Dryml in another league clash at Belle Vue on Monday.

Boyce goes into the re-declared Ipswich team on a 7.68 green sheet average, but he can cover for Dryml in the Poole team because his pink sheet figure of 7.75 is lower than the Czech's 8.72.

To complicate the situation further, Boyce - who has already ridden on loan for Oxford this year - remains as captain of Pirates' British League Cup side.
