THREE local youngsters from The Dorset Golf and Country Club are celebrating after putting their way on to one of the most famous golf courses in the country, The Belfry.
Dean Paulley, Rob Crowe and Stephen Packer secured their spot in the national final of the British Heart Foundation (BHF) after winning their regional junior golf competition.
The youngsters were one of two top scoring teams in the tournament, which took place at Oake Manor Golf Club, Taunton. They will now join 18 other teams from around the UK to play at the former Ryder Cup venue, near Birmingham on Monday, September 22.
The team had already progressed through a preliminary round at their Wool-based club with a score of 91 in the Stableford scoring event.
