THE 129-year history of Poole Pottery is detailed and celebrated in a new edition of a popular book.
Well-known Poole historian Leslie Hayward has written the book, entitled "Poole Pottery - Carter and Co and their Successors 1873 to 2002".
The 240-page book features pictures of more than 500 plates as well as a list of factory marks and charts the history of Poole Pottery from the beginning to the present day.
The second edition, which covered the years 1873 to 1998, sold out completely so the third edition was officially launched at an auction of rare and collectable Poole Pottery pieces last weekend.
