ALL bride-to-be Ann-Marie Sawden needs to make her wedding a dream come true is for her missing brother to return home and give her away.

On Sunday Ann-Marie, 26, and her fianc Richard McFarlane, 34, will be-come the first couple to say ' I do' at a shopping centre when they tie the knot at the Furlong in Ringwood.

But behind their happiness lies family heartbreak.

For Ann-Marie has not seen her older brother Adrian for 13 years - Adrian is even unaware that their father Maurice died 11 years ago.

Now Ann-Marie is putting out a heartfelt plea to her brother for him to return for her wedding, and walk along side her and to give her away.

Adrian, 31, went missing in 1989, Ann-Marie recalled: "He went abroad to work in France for a year grape-picking and then got a job interpreting on the Spain/France border.

"Adrian came home for a week's holiday and before that he'd write all the time but he went back abroad and we've never heard from him since.

"He doesn't even know that Dad has died and we don't even have a photograph as they are all with the missing person's bureau.

"It would really be a dream come true if he came home and gave me away."

Ann-Marie's other brother, Richard, 28, is geared up to step in and give his sister away if an emotional reunion with Adrian fails to materialise.

But Ann-Marie, her brother and her mum Jennifer will all be hoping that somehow, somewhere Adrian will get to hear his little sister is getting married and get in touch.

Legal secretary Anne-Marie and her fianc, who both live in Ringwood, are getting married at the Furlong Shopping Centre after entering a competition.

They will get spliced at Frampton's Mill restaurant and the ceremony and their gifts have been paid for by traders from the shopping centre.

Adrian Sawden was only 18 when he went missing. He is six feet tall, was of medium build, has brown hair and blue eyes.

If anyone has come across Adrian or has any information about him they can contact the Echo on 01425 476986 and we will pass the information on to Ann-Marie and her family.
