LYME Regis rider Kirsty Wiscombe has been lucky enough to secure sponsorship from one of the leading names in equine nutrition.

Kirsty, 32, has a wealth of experience in training endurance horses and is delighted to have gained sponsorship from TopSpec Equine.

Her plans for the season include concentrating her efforts on the hugely talented mare Connie who has recently competed at advanced level rides in Ireland as well as around Great Britain.

Kirsty is now riding up to 75 miles a day on her mare and hopes to take Connie to Blessington in August to compete in a ride which covers 120 miles in two days.

Kirsty said: "It's fantastic to have backing from TopSpec. Their feed balancer is great for Connie because it maintains her weight and she is well muscled with a good top line. TopSpec is perfect for her because it is not a bulky feed making it easily digestible. She never lose condition unlike a lot of endurance horses."

Nicola Tyler of TopSpec said: "TopSpec's policy is to promote riders in their chosen discipline through sponsorship and nutritional advice. We are delighted to be assisting Kirsty in her endeavours."
