The district has 936 households earning six-figure incomes per year, compared with:
Poole borough - 166th (613)
Bournemouth borough - 173rd (592)
East Dorset - 239th (408)
West Dorset - 337th (227)
North Dorset - 348th (206)
Purbeck - 375th (153)
Christchurch - 407th (107)

The research was carried out by CACI Information Solutions on behalf of NatWest Black, a credit card for over-25s earning more than £75,000.
NatWest Black marketing manager Fiona Gaze-Fitzgibbon said: "The superwealthy are concentrated in London and South East.
"But there are pockets of wealth across the country generating jobs to maintain lots of high income households."
