TRAVAIL Employment Group and Insight Consultative Solutions are the latest companies to book their places at the Daily-Echo/Barclays Recruitment 2002 jobs fair later this month.

Poole-based Travail - which has strengths in the senior construction executive market and the IT, engineering and commercial sectors - is highlighting the rising confidence among local firms. "We're quite optimistic. We have been talking to our clients and have picked up on a lot of confidence in the jobs market," said Travail regional director Mrs Marilyn Madell whose Longfleet Road firm covers an area spanning from Bridport to New Milton.

Insight, which is based in Commercial Road, Bournemouth, is an IT firm specialising in sales, marketing and management. Managing director Rob Hutchings said: "We have a specialist division for graduate recruitment and outplacements."

Hundreds of new jobs will be on offer at the two-day Recruitment 2002 exhibition on January 30 and 31 at Bournemouth Pavilion.

This year's event - the fifth of its kind - follows the popularity of Echo Recruitment exhibitions in 2000 and 2001.

Nursing and care staff are in strong demand this year. Exhibitors include Allied Healthcare, Colten Care, Early Years Development & Childcare, Dorset Healthcare, Dorset Social Services, the Harbour Hospital and the New-cross Nursing Group.

Other exhibitors include Barclays, British Gas Sales, Computeach Internat-ional, Countrywide, the Daily Echo, Dorset Police, Leonard Cheshire, MPC, Right4staff, SMS and Testlink.

The Daily Echo/Barclays Recruitment 2002 jobs fair will run from 11am-6.30pm on Wednesday January 30 and 10am-6.30pm on January 31.
