EXPANDING Boscombe Plant (Poole) is creating 15 new jobs after investing another £1 million in 30 new diggers.
The firm has already ploughed £1.2 million into 55 brand new JCB mach-ines in the last 12 months. They include mini-diggers, 33-tonne tracked excavators (pictured) and backhoe loaders.
Boscombe Plant (Poole) owner Keith Joyce said: "One of the main reasons we decided to work with JCB was the fact that they have remained solely as a manufacturer and have not diversified into plant hire. In the past I have dealt with companies who would sell me a machine on one day and then try to steal my customer the next."
The plant hire company is based in Huntick Road, Lytchett Matravers.
It was founded in 1994 when Mr Joyce - a former digger driver - and wife Tracy abandoned plans to buy a house and used the money saved for a deposit to invest in a machine instead.
Their decision paid off and they now head an operated and non-operated plant hire business with almost 60 machines and 26 employees.
