BRIDPORT'S match at Bishop Sutton tonight is in doubt following heavy overnight rain.

A noon inspection of the pitch was being held to see if the Screwfix Direct Premier Division game could go ahead.

If it is on the Bees could be without four or five of the players that lost to a late goal against Melksham Town at St Mary's Field on Saturday.

Definitely ruled out of the match against mid-table opponents are midfield players Simon Austin and Danny Aplin and young defender Dan Taylor.

Austin has a knee injury, Aplin has returned to his studies after the Christmas and New Year break and Taylor is unavailable.

Furthermore, central defender Neil Copeland may be unable to make the journey to the Bristol area and Richard Drake's availability is only rated 50-50.

"Apart from eight or nine not available we will be at full strength," joked Bridport player-manager Derek Walkey. "It is just one thing after another this season.
