A MAJOR revamp of police stations throughout Weymouth and West Dorset begins today.
The western divisional headquarters moves to a new hi-tech base at Chafey's Lake, along with the west Weymouth and Portland police section, which moves into a new building next door.
A new police station is due to be up and running at Portland's Southwell Business Park today and east Weymouth police section is relocating to new premises next to its existing Dorchester Road station.
Dorchester's Weymouth Avenue station is being revamped and Bridport police station is moving into a new building in Tannery Road.
