Intrepid oarsman Jim Shekhdar, the first man to row single-handed across the Pacific Ocean, heaves to at the Regent Centre studio, Christchurch on Thursday evening to recount the epic journey chronicled in his book 'The Bold Man and the Sea'.
Tickets priced £3 are available from the Regent Centre box office and autographed copies of the book will be on sale following the talk which begins at 8 pm.
