FUND-RAISING punters went to the dogs to help boost Dorset's anti-child abuse campaign.
A special night at Poole Stadium saw 200 eager corporate racegoers bring in around £8,000 for the NSPCC Full Stop Appeal.
Special guest for the evening was TV's best known tipster, John McCrirrick.
Director of fund-raising for the campaign in Dorset, Roderick Kennedy, said the evening was a great success.
"Everyone had a great time although I believe a fair number of people went home with substantially lighter pockets!"
He thanked all who took part.
The NSPCC locally is attempting to raise £1m towards stamping out child abuse in the county.
Nationally the aim is to raise £250m and the patron of the campaign is HRH the Duke of York.
The greyhound evening was organised by Liz Jones, wife of Peter Jones, chairman of the Tote and of the NSPCC Full Stop appeal in Dorset.
