A £200-million outsourcing contract affecting 200 staff at Liverpool Victoria comes into effect today.
Under a 10-year agreement, the friendly society based at the Frizzell roundabout is outsourcing its entire IT function to EDS.
Two hundred Liverpool Victoria staff are transferring to EDS under a TUPE (transfer of undertakings, protection of employment) operation.
A further 70 IT contractors working at Liverpool Victoria will also transfer to EDS.
All 270 people will continue to do the same jobs in their existing offices.
