POPPIES will be seen on the front of buses, taxis, fire engines, police cars, ambulances and even pizza delivery vans across Bournemouth over the next few days.
As a special initiative the emergency services, Bournemouth Transport and the town's taxis have joined together to promote this year's Poppy Appeal and Remembrance Day.
Domino's Pizzas is also adorning its vehicles with poppies to raise the profile of the appeal.
It is the idea of taxi driver Chris Moore, Poppy Appeal co-ordinator for Winton and Bournemouth, who used to work for Yellow Buses and thought it would be one of the best ways to make people aware of the appeal.
Roy Edgley, managing director of Bournemouth Transport, which has raised £100 for the appeal, said: "We are only too pleased to contribute.
"As well as financial support for the appeal, we hope we can help maintain and build its profile, and with the help of the taxis, the police, the fire service, ambulance service and Domino's Pizzas, you won't be able to go anywhere without seeing a poppy over the next few days."
