Two men, believed to be from Dorset, were killed in a light aircraft crash.
Police and air accident investigators are today continuing inquiries into how the small aircraft crashed into a field killing the two men on board.
The plane came down in a field close to the junction of the A303 and A342 at Monxton near Andover, Hampshire, at 5.20pm on Saturday.
A Hampshire police spokesman said that the occupants were two men aged in their 50s from the Dorset area.
A spokesman said: “From what we know of the accident so far, there’s no reason to connect it to the atmospheric conditions from the volcano.”
