OH WHAT a beautiful morning for the St. Peter’s Church Village Café in mid April which had a continental theme serving Danish pastries as well as the usual bacon rolls, cakes and coffee, and the weather certainly played along with the theme with some tables laid up in the hall garden which were very popular.

The library continues to grow in size as well as demand to include a children’s section and thanks must go to the people who have donated their books as well as to David McKinna, the village hall chairman, who tirelessly gets out and packs away all the books for every café including keeping them in some sort of order!

A very successful and sunny morning enjoyed by a large crowd.
