A 54-YEAR-OLD man from the Blandford area has been charged with the murder of Andrew Quelch and was due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates Court today.
Mr Quelch, 48, was found with serious head injuries at his bedsit in High East Street, Dorchester, on Tuesday morning and died later in hospital.
Dorset Police said two other men arrested in connection with the death had been released without charge.
