I HAD a wonderful time when I visited Holy Trinity CE Primary School’s fayre, which was packed with people despite the cold weather.
The Weymouth school’s hall had been beautifully decorated by the pupils and looked stunning. I especially liked the human fruit machine. pictured right. The school choir gave a me a very warm welcome and I understand Father Christmas had a very busy time – he saw 260 children!
The Friends Committee’s months of hard work had paid off as the event raised more than £2,700 towards the maintenance of the school swimming pool, which is in need of repair.
