A NIGHTCLUB employee was injured in an alleged assault at a Weymouth venue.
The 50-year-old man suffered a head injury in the incident at the 314 Club in Maiden Street.
Police have only just released details of the incident which happened in the early hours of Sunday, March 20.
Officers, who have made an arrest, are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Constable Declan Cummings, of Weymouth CID, said: “The incident involved a member of staff and a woman.
“Any information – no matter how insignificant you may consider it to be – may help me to find out exactly what happened.”
A 24-year-old woman from Bridport was arrested and has been released on police bail while inquiries continue.
