READERS may be interested to hear that plans for this year’s Milton Abbey Music Festival are well in hand and rehearsals for the choirs will begin on May 21 in Broadmayne Village Hall.
We would welcome experienced singers of whatever range (even sopranos) and anyone wishing to take part can contact me on 01929 471391 or email me at brenda@rocket services.co.uk. Rehearsals will take place in many parts of Dorset and a full schedule is now available as are full details of the festival weekend, which can also be obtained from me or visit www.miltonabbeyfestival.co.uk New singers will be very welcome to join us, either for the season or for one or both of the first two all-day rehearsals, which are open days for those who would like to try us out for just £12 for each day.
As always, the festival takes place over the August bank holiday weekend, this year from August 26-29.
