A GROUP of Brownies has been completely gripped by Royal Wedding fever.
The Second Preston pack has spent the past few weeks working towards their Royal Wedding badge, a |challenge set up specially to |celebrate the marriage of Prince William to Kate Middleton.
To win their badge, the 12-strong groups of girls from near Weymouth had to complete a number of tasks including making and designing flags to wave on the day, designing commemorative stamps, devising a wedding game and writing and acting out a Royal Wedding play.
The play, which involved roles as diverse as the Archbishop of Canterbury, David Beckham and two Royal horses, was rehearsed over several weeks and performed in front of parents during the Brownie pack’s Royal Wedding Party.
