I’d like to know whether Mr Drax would like to update his constituents on how to contact him please?

He has no answerphone on his constituency office phone – at least, the one listed as being such on the House of Commons website.

This feeds into rather common knowledge that, unlike his predecessor, he doesn’t like responding to constituents of any stripe. I have names of traditional Tories (who aren’t militant lefties like me) who he ignores in correspondence.

These people tell me that Jim Knight responded to you irrespective of race, colour, creed or political leaning. One told me Knight hated his own politics but treated him as he did any constituent – and represented him as was required in his job as MP.

With a fairer voting system, perhaps we would have a more representative representative in the House of Commons? This man represents no one but himself it seems.

Not being of any ministerial office, I see few excuses for Mr Drax to ignore those he represents. As a backbencher he should have plenty of time to pay us heed. Instead, he seems to treat us like his forebears during the time of Tolpuddle (when there was also a Drax representing this area).
