TWO men have appeared at crown court in connection with an armed robbery at a Weymouth post office.
Stephen James McCourt, 48, and James McMillan-McHendrie faced charges of robbery and possession of a firearm in relation to a raid at Broadmeadow Post Office in Portland Road, Wyke Regis on Saturday, August 27.
The pair did not enter pleas to the charges at the short preliminary hearing at Dorchester Crown Court.
The case was adjourned to a plea and case management hearing on October 31.
McCourt, of Chickerell Road, Weymouth, and McMillan-McHendrie, of Hereford Road, Weymouth, were both remanded in custody.
