IT was three times the joy for a Weymouth family who have named their son after his grandad’s nickname.

Tahnee and Kris Thorne, from Wyke Regis, welcomed baby Zeno Bluie Thorne into their family on September 28.

He weighed 8lbs 11oz and is a baby brother for the couple’s children Kaleb, seven, and Bria Sue, four.

Mrs Thorne who runs Tahnee’s Hair and Beauty Studio on Portland Road, said they decided to call him Bluie after her father’s nickname.

She said: “My dad, Terry Hebbern, is known as Bluie because of his very blue eyes.

“He loves the fact it’s Zeno’s middle name and is really pleased we called him after him.”

She added: “All the children are getting on really well. They can’t cuddle him enough. They want to see him and help out with things.

“Zeno is eating and sleeping brilliantly, he’s being really good.”

Mrs Thorne said he was a laid back little boy.

She said: “He’s a really contented little baby.”

The couple would like to give a big thank you to the Chesil midwife team at Dorset County Hospital and a special thank you to Julie and Lorraine.

Mrs Thorne also wanted to thank her staff and clients at the hair studio.

She said: “They have really understood that I’m off work and they have been great, keeping it all running for me.”
