A PROUD mum named her first baby after his grandfather.
Emma Williams 21, from Portland, welcomed Noah Franklin Lawrence Williams into her life on October 6.
Little Noah was born at Dorset County Hospital and weighed 6lbs and 4oz.
Miss Williams named him Lawrence after her grandfather who sadly passed away a week after Noah was born.
Noah had jaundice when he was born and mum and baby spent a week in hospital while he got better.
Both mum and baby are doing well now.
She said that Noah was eating and sleeping well.
She added: “Being a mum is defiantly a different experience. It’s defiantly the best thing I have done. It’s so rewarding.”
Miss Williams said she would like to pay tribute to the ‘absolutely fantastic’ staff on the maternity ward.
She said: “All the staff were absolutely brilliant. Two midwives- Trish and Emma were absolutely fantastic.”
Miss Williams also wanted to give a special thank you to her mum Laura Williams and thanked all her family and friends for their support.
