A WIDE range of workshops were on offer at the bi-annual Disability Empowerment Fayre in Dorchester.
The event, organised by All Inclusive Disability Consultants CIC and The Care Division, looked at ways of giving disabled people more control over how and where their care money is spent and focused on services and activities.
A range of service providers were also on hand to talk to people at the Fayre about what they could offer. Managing director of All Inclusive, Iain Speed, who has Cerebral Palsy, said: “I’ve turned a personal ambition into a reality as I believe that if events like these were around when I was growing up, maybe I would have had more opportunities.”
