A COUPLE chose the Dorset coastline as the perfect setting for their wedding.

Tammy Phillips, 31, grew up in the Lyme Regis area and she and fiancé James Newcombe, 31, chose The Alexandra hotel in the town for their big day.

Their son Louis, five, was the pageboy and the couple said he really enjoyed the day.

Tammy, who works at a sports centre, and James, a finance manager, met eight years ago when they both worked at NatWest bank in Exeter.

When Louis was five months old on Christmas morning James dressed him in a T-shirt that said: “Will you marry my daddy?”

Tammy said: “It was so sweet.”

They married on July 23 and the guests enjoyed Pimms in the garden before an evening meal.

The couple went on honeymoon to Cornwall for a week with Louis in a campervan.

Tammy said that being married was fantastic.

She said: “It feels lovely to be a proper family now with the same name.”
