ARTSREACH will be presenting their next entertainment at Portesham village hall on Saturday, 14 January beginning at 7.30pm, when Victorian magic duo Morgan and West will entertain.

The show will appeal to adults and children over 7 and tickets will again be available from Gill Brignell on 01305 871925 or email gillbrignell@aol.co.uk. They will also be available from the Tuesday post office village cafe on 10 January.

Prices are adults £7.50, under 18’s £5 and £22 for a family ticket.

THE next community lunch takes place at Portesham school on Thursday, 19 January at 1pm.

The delicious freshly prepared menu will consist of roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables to be followed by apple crumble and custard.

THE school will be holding another community event the following day, Friday, 20 January when an evening pantomime performance of Sleeping Beauty takes place in the school hall.

SATURDAY, 21 January sees the first Saturday village cafe of 2012 when Dors to India host with all the usual goodies – and more! Usual time of 10am to 12 noon.

THE Diamond club will be holding their next meeting at Portesham village hall at 2.30pm on Tuesday, 17 January when speaker Kay Townsend’s subject will be “Life as a child in the Fairground”.
