BUDDING birdwatchers should keep their eyes out for a new course starting this month.
The Wild about Weymouth and Portland partnership is running another Birdwatching for Beginners course.
The classes, to be held on four consecutive Tuesdays, are free and open to everyone. The first one will start from the RSPB visitor centre at their Radipole Lake reserve at 10am on Tuesday, January 10 but future weeks will cover other local birdwatching areas.
Project officer for the Wild about Weymouth and Portland initiative Tom Clarke said: “We were delighted with the response to the first courses. There’s obviously a huge interest out there in our local birds.”
