THE WEYMOUTH Lifeboat rescued an injured woman from a Brittany Ferry on the way to Spain with a suspected fractured hip.
Portland Coastguards were asked to assist vessel Pont Aven enroute from Portsmouth to Santander Spain after the passenger slipped and fell on board.
The Weymouth Lifeboat was launched to assist at 1am on December 30.
This is video footage of the medivac rescue showing the lifeboat transferring medical supplies and then extracting the injured passenger on a stretcher.
She was later met by an ambulance in Weymouth and transferred to Dorset County Hospital.
