On behalf of the West Dorset Fundraising group, I would like to thank the very many generous shoppers in Dorchester on the cold morning of Saturday, January 28.
They contributed £148.79 to the street collection for ‘Freedom from Torture’ (the charity previously known as ‘The Medical Foundation’). The collection was arranged by the group to coincide with Holocaust Memorial Day. ‘Freedom from Torture’ helps torture survivors rebuild their lives and overcome traumatic experiences of the past. For more information about the charity or to find out about local group fundraising activities please telephone Dorchester 268641. Lauretta Kerridge Group Secretary
