A CHARITY is seeking disabled people, pensioners and carers to be the voice of Dorset.
Disability charity Access Dorset needs volunteers to take part in surveys to give feedback to businesses and organisations.
The initiative, Team AD100, will enable private firms, local authorities, and other organisations such as health, utilities and emergency services to commission services from the group.
Anne Simpson, of Access Dorset, said: “For the first time organisations in Dorset will have a simple and effective way to ensure the response from disabled people, older people and carers is heard.
“We hope that establishing this dedicated consultation group will encourage organisations to properly consult before they make decisions.”
Anyone who volunteers to be part of the team will take part in two surveys per month on an anonymous basis.
For each survey completed they will be entered into a prize draw to win £25.
