HALLELUJAH – 90s music legends Happy Mondays have been named as the Sunday night headline act at this year’s Camp Bestival.
Featuring their original and definitive line-up, back together for the first time in 19 years, the ‘Madchester’ trailblazers will be heading to Lulworth Castle in July to round off this year’s family-friendly festival with all their greatest hits including Step On, Kinky Afro, Hallelujah and 24 Hour Party People.
Festival organiser, Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank, said: “I’m amazed this band are coming to Camp Bestival.
“Happy Mondays are one of those iconic British outfits that perfectly capture all that’s best about our musical make up – indie, dance, rave, pop and Shaun Ryder’s lyrical wit.”
