ACCLAIMED singer-songwriter KT Tunstall is one of the headline acts at this year’s Purbeck Folk Festival.
The Scottish Ivor Novello and Brit awards winner will close Saturday night of the three-day event at Langton Matravers near Swanage from Friday to Sunday, August 24-26.
Festival organiser Paul Burke said: “I think this year’s event will add even more clout to Dorset’s growing reputation on the music festival scene.
“We think this is a really cool little festival with a fantastic family atmosphere. There’s something for everyone’s musical taste.”
Scottish KT Tunstall came to fame following an appearance on Later with Jools Holland, where she performed the Grammy-winning single Black Horse and the Cherry Tree.
Her debut album, Eye to the Telescope, was a best-seller and spawned the singles Suddenly I See and On The Other Side of the World.
